Macomber Center

Macomber Center is a self-directed education community for children of all ages who are growing and learning without conventional schooling. The Center is open from 9am to 5pm, 5 days a week and follows the academic calendar. We have part-time and full-time members. We follow no curriculum, have no required classes and offer no assessments of any kind. Our members are free to follow their curiosity and pursue their interests within a rich and vibrant age-mixed community, and with the support of knowledgeable, helpful adults. Since we are not a school our members must be registered as homeschoolers with their respective towns.
